My Journey to becoming a designer

My professional foundation is built upon a unique blend of fine arts training and advanced technological expertise. I began my journey at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA), where I earned my BFA. This rigorous education in studio art emphasized not just technical skill, but the critical art of visual communication and narrative development. Following this, I applied my communication and design skills as an educator, where I focused on igniting creativity and facilitating learning in classroom environments.

During the global shift in 2020, I independently pivoted my focus to technology. I became proficient in core front-end and scripting languages, including HTML, CSS, and Python, by successfully completing several self-directed learning projects. This initiative ultimately led me to pursue a Master's degree in Information Systems in Ireland.

My Master’s studies bridged my artistic background with advanced technological concepts, specializing in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and User Experience (UX) Design. This academic rigor included developing and coding Large Language Models (LLM), demonstrating my ability to move beyond front-end design to complex, data-driven systems.

Today, I leverage this comprehensive background to craft interfaces and experiences that are both aesthetically compelling and functionally intuitive. I create solutions where design principles meet analytical insights, resulting in seamless, accessible, and meaningful user experiences.
